Pleiades Leisure have been successfully delivering PE and Games to infant, junior and primary schools for over 15 years, across Surrey and the southeast. Schools have traditionally used our staff to cover PPA time for teachers, allowing them to plan, prepare and assess.
Finding a high-quality, cost-effective solution is vital for schools.
Our highly trained Sports Educators possess the skills and qualifications to manage classes of 30 children in both KS1 and KS2. Pupils of different abilities will be appropriately challenged and behaviour expectations are demanded throughout.
We liaise with PE co-ordinators and leaderships teams to set a term by term plans, focusing on specific sporting events where necessary. Sports Educators are equipped with Ofsted level planning in a range of sports and topics.

Case Study: The Queens School, Kew
Overview: The Queens is a two-form entry primary school in South West London, near Richmond. The school leadership team recognise the benefits of physical activity and wanted to improve the delivery of PE and sport across the whole school.
Approach: After meeting with the PE co-ordinator and deputy headteacher, half termly planning was put in place to map out what subjects would be taught to each class throughout the school year. Pleiades sports educators deliver one hour of high-quality PE to each class, per week.
Result: Pupils have had the opportunity to participate in planned PE lessons, delviered by qualified sports educators. Regular meetings with the Leadership Team allow the school to host more inter-house competitions and give more children the opportunity to take part in out of school sporting events too.
In 2018/19 pupils from years 2-6 took part in Athletics, Football, Gymnastics, Golf, Netball, Tag Rugby and Swimming festivals.
